What Tends To Wear Out 1st In A 1960s Christies Beach House?
In our experience it’s the parts nobody sees: the sewer drain running from the house to the boundary, the water service coming in, and a hot water unit that may have been swapped more than once in the same spot. We commonly find roots getting in at old joints and fittings that have simply done their time. A camera inspection is a sensible start, and if the bathroom is original too, we can plan the new pipework as part of bathroom renovations.
Is Christies Beach The Same Suburb As Christie Downs?
No. They’re neighbours with their own postcodes, and Dyson Road runs between much of them. The magistrates court, the police station and Christies Beach High School all carry the name but actually stand in Christie Downs, and Christies Beach has no train station of its own. We work on both sides of Dyson Road, and in Port Noarlunga to the south as well.
