My Home Is In One Of Sheidow Park's Older Streets. Is It Due For A Check?
If it’s in the first streets west of Heysen Drive, it may well be. Building here began in earnest in the late 1970s, and in our experience homes of that age are where original tapware, cisterns and shower valves start failing together. A plumbing check covers the wet areas, the hot water unit and a camera look at the sewer line, so you can plan repairs instead of reacting to them.

Yes. Our Yard Slopes Toward A Reserve & The Stormwater Backs Up. Who Fixes It?
On a block that falls toward a reserve or the Field River valley, stormwater lines take the slope with them, and in our experience silt and roots along reserve edges are the usual reason they back up.
