Fulham Plumbers Who Quote Before They Start
A sewer backing up in the back yard, a shower that takes ages to warm when the whole house is home, a garden tap that won’t stop weeping. We find out why it’s happening, then fix that, not just the symptom.
Phone us to arrange a time, and if it can’t wait, our 24/7 emergency plumbing team answers at any hour. For everything else in Fulham we aim for a same day response. Diagnosis comes first, then a fixed quote in writing with options. Nothing is booked in until you’re happy with it.

The Way We Work in Fulham Homes
Co-owners Michael Heinrich and Colin Archer-Bourke set up Adelaide Expert Plumbing & Gas because they believed people should get a plumber who’s honest, on time and easy to deal with. What started as the two of them with a van is now a team of six, and those three things are still the whole job description.
Around Fulham, a lot of our work is in solid houses built after the land was drained and subdivided, where the pipes have put up with decades of garden roots and ground movement. We look before we dig, explain the options plainly and stand behind every repair with our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee. More than 260 five-star Google reviews suggest that approach suits people.
Need to spread the cost of a bigger job? Our Humm payment plan options can help. Terms and conditions apply. Contact us and we’ll put the scope in writing first.
Plumbing & Gas Services for Fulham Houses & Local Businesses
Fulham is almost all stand-alone houses on generous blocks, from post-war homes to newer rebuilds, with two heritage-listed homesteads among them and a small commercial hub where Tapleys Hill Road crosses Henley Beach Road. Long drains, mature gardens and bigger households shape the work, for homes and for the businesses at that corner.
General Plumbing
Mixers, cisterns, stop valves and shower repairs in bigger houses with more than one bathroom. We sort out the fault and check the fittings around it.
Blocked Drains
Roots from established gardens are behind many of the blocked sewer lines we clear in Fulham. We clear blocked drains with high-pressure jetting from $79, T&C's Apply, and camera the line.
Hot Water Systems
A four-bedroom household empties a small hot water system fast. We repair and replace systems sized to match the number of people and bathrooms they serve.
Emergency Plumber, Any Hour
A sewer overflowing in the yard, burst pipes at the back of the house, or a shop kitchen out of action on Tapleys Hill Road. We answer every call, day or night.
Taps & Toilets
Ensuites, second toilets, laundry taps and garden taps. We repair leaking taps and toilet faults, replace worn cisterns and valves, and leave everything tested and working.
Pipe Relining
Decades-old sewer lines run the length of a Fulham yard past mature trees. Relining the pipe fixes cracks and root entry from inside, without trenching the garden.
Stormwater Drains
West Torrens looks after the street network, and the pipes leading to it are yours. We clear and repair property stormwater so water leaves the block properly.
Gas Heaters
Heating a large house takes a heater that's sized right and fitted safely. We install, service and repair gas heaters to AS 5601, with a carbon monoxide safety check on every service.
Kitchen Renovations
Moving a sink, adding a dishwasher or reworking the kitchen in a post-war house means new waste and water runs. We plan and fit the plumbing so the new layout works.
Reviews From Fulham Homes & Businesses
We look after customers right through Fulham, from Weetunga Street to the shops on Henley Beach Road and Tapleys Hill Road. Below, customers from all around Adelaide describe how their job went.
On a horrible night, Aidan came out and did an amazing job. Following him, Michael and Mitch couldn’t have done more to sort out the problem. I would recommend them to anyone. The fees were very reasonable too. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Why Fulham Homeowners & Local Businesses Choose Us
We’ve earned 260+ five-star Google reviews, and what stands out is how routine they are. On time. Clear price. Clean finish. It’s a dull list, but it’s the one people actually care about.
In Fulham the job is usually a long one underground. Stand-alone houses on generous blocks mean a single sewer line running the length of the yard, often past established trees, on ground that was river flat before the 1930s drainage works. We camera the line, show you the fault and reline the damaged section where we can, so the garden stays where it is. For the businesses at the Tapleys Hill Road corner we work around trading hours, and every job starts with upfront quotes, agreed onsite before we start.
We Service Fulham & the Suburbs Either Side of the River
We work across Fulham, from Riverside Drive and the streets of the old Weetunga estate down to Linear Park, and along Tapleys Hill Road and Henley Beach Road. In between are the homes off Fitch Road and Coral Sea Road, and The Oaks retirement village on Henley Beach Road. Lockleys sits to the east, also City of West Torrens, with the river bending past it. Henley Beach meets Fulham at one corner and is City of Charles Sturt, as is Fulham Gardens across the old river course. Over the Torrens to the south is West Beach. Whichever of them you’re in, see what our customers say before you pick a plumber.

Fulham Plumbing & Gas Questions, Answered by Our Team
A fair few Fulham questions start with the name, because plenty of people confuse Fulham with Fulham Gardens next door. The rest are about drains, stormwater, bigger homes and the usual pricing and timing. We’ve answered the eight we hear most. If yours isn’t here, see our FAQs or call 08 8152 9100.
Is Fulham The Same Suburb As Fulham Gardens?
No. Fulham is its own suburb in the City of West Torrens, running between the River Torrens and the river’s old course along Riverside Drive. Fulham Gardens is to the north, across that old course, and belongs to the City of Charles Sturt. It matters for stormwater, because each council sets its own rules for street drainage. We work in both, so tell us your street when you call and we’ll confirm which council looks after it.
Who Looks After The Stormwater Drain In My Fulham Street?
The City of West Torrens looks after the local public stormwater network. Everything on your side of the legal point of discharge, including downpipes, pits and the pipes across your property, is the owner’s responsibility. If water is backing up or pooling on your block, we clear and repair your stormwater lines and check the connection to the council system.
I'm Near Everest Or Burnley Street. Which Council's Rules Apply?
It depends which side of the street you’re on. On Fulham’s western edge, the boundary between the City of West Torrens and the City of Charles Sturt follows Everest Street and Burnley Street. On the Fulham side, West Torrens stormwater rules apply, while across the road in Henley Beach South a new kerb outlet needs a Charles Sturt engineering permit. We check the address before we quote.
Our House Is On The Old Weetunga Estate. What Should We Have Checked?
If your home is one of the houses built after the Weetunga estate was subdivided in the 1950s, the sewer line under the yard is likely to be decades old and running past mature garden roots. In our experience that’s where slow drains and recurring blockages begin. A camera inspection shows the condition of the line, and if a section is cracked or root-damaged we can often reline it instead of digging up the garden.
Do You Work On Fulham's Older Heritage Homes?
Yes. Fulham has two State Heritage homesteads, The Oaks and Weetunga, alongside other older houses that predate the post-war streets. In buildings like these we find faults before opening anything and choose repairs that disturb as little original fabric as possible. If a job would alter a heritage-listed building itself, check the requirements with council before major work begins.
Can You Size A Hot Water System For A Four-Bedroom House?
Yes. A big household with two bathrooms puts far more demand on hot water than a unit does, especially first thing in the morning. We look at how many people and bathrooms the system serves, what’s installed now and where it sits, then recommend a replacement that suits, whether that’s a storage unit, continuous flow or a heat pump. Then we install it neatly and test it.
Will I Get A Price Before You Start?
Yes, always. Our team give upfront quotes on every job before any work commences. The receptionist you speak to doesn’t have access to a price book, since their job is to keep the team running on schedule, dispatch plumbers and look after customers. The plumber quotes onsite and gives you multiple options, so you never feel pressured one bit. If you’re calling outside regular business hours, a call-out fee may apply, so call our friendly team to check our availability. We’re on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Are You Licensed For Gas Work, & How Fast Can You Get Here?
Yes on both counts. We hold licence PGE #360928 for plumbing and gas fitting, and work to AS/NZS 3500 for plumbing and AS 5601 for gas, regulated by Consumer and Business Services. We’re available 24/7, and for urgent jobs we can typically be there within 60 minutes. If it can wait, we aim for a same day response.
